Decision

That the following bridges including any
approach embankments will become Highway Maintainable at Public
Expense, as attached.

Reasons for the decision

The bridge and embankments were owned by
District Councils prior to the Local Government Review and is now a
North Yorkshire Council (NYC) asset. As the bridge and embankments
supports the highway maintainable at public expense it is
considered appropriate in this instance that they should also
highway maintainable at public expense.

Alternative options considered

The assets remain an asset owned by NYC, but
not considered as highway maintainable at public expense.
