Plant: Servicing and Responsive Maintenance

Decision

To undertake a procurement exercise to
establish a new contract for Pool Plant Servicing and Responsive
Maintenance for North Yorkshire Council.

Reasons for the decision

A decision has been made to undertake a
procurement exercise to establish new arrangements for the delivery
of Pool Plant, Pool Moving Floors, Pool Covers and Saunas Servicing
and Responsive Maintenance, as the contracts established by the
former Councils that make up North Yorkshire Council are due to
expire. The new contract will include provision to provide all
relevant servicing and maintenance for all Council properties as
previous contract arrangements expire, as well as provision for
Property’s Traded Service Property Solutions Clients.
The procurement will commence in summer 2025 with a view to having
a new contract in place for September 2025. It is proposed that the
contract will be for a duration of two years with options to extend
for a further three years (a two year and then one year extension
periods, resulting in a maximum contract period of five
years).
