The content of the report is noted and the
Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans are approved for
Thirsk and Whitby (LCWIPs).

Reasons for the decision

The recommendations are made so that the plans
become part of the Council’s portfolio of
priority schemes to recommend should funding opportunities become
available from various
sources.

Alternative options considered

Officers considered using in house expertise
however decided to use the expertise of
consultants for consistency with other LCWIPs.
