Purpose

That the executive Member for the Environment,
in line with delegated authority, note the North Yorkshire Council
statutory consultation process and;
authorise the submission of the Council’s detailed response
to the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero once detailed
officer responses have been collated.

Decision

Approval to submit a consultation response on
behalf of North Yorkshire Council in response to the Department for
Energy, Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) Voluntary Carbon and Nature
Markets: Raising Integrity consultation.
