Decision

To extend the current contract, as
provisioned, for a period of up to 12 months (5th November 2025
– 4th November 2026) whilst the re-procurement process is
completed.

Reasons for the decision

The Council has decided to extend the current
contract for a period of up to 12 months, as provisioned within the
contract to enable a re-procurement exercise to be undertaken. This
will ensure continuity of service during this period.

Alternative options considered

A procurement process was completed, however
having reviewed the specification the council has identified that
the specification is unlikely to meet the Council’s changing
needs. The decision has therefore been taken to discontinue that
process.
