Purpose
To provide a progress report on the current
programme, and to seek agreement from the Corporate Director of
Environment, in consultation with the Executive Member for Highway
and Transportation for the proposed updates and extension of the
rolling flood programme up to 2031 in accordance with the approved
prioritisation methodology.
Decision
The Corporate Director of Environment, in
consultation with the Executive Member for Highway and
Transportation approve:
i. The allocation of the flood risk reserve as detailed in table 3
of the report for 2025/26 and 2026/27
ii. Removal of the Easingwold project from the flood risk
programme.
iii. The addition of projects for Knaresborough, Great Ayton and
Stokesley into the flood risk management capital programme.
iv. The allocation of funds from the flood risk management revenue
reserve as detailed in section 13 of the report.
