Policy be approved.

Reasons for the decision

Following feedback received from the Housing
Ombudsman and the Tenants Scrutiny Panel, amendments were required
to improve the Housing Complaints Policy.

Alternative options considered

The only alternative was not to adopt the
changes to policy, which would lead to reduced governance
arrangements for housing complaints which would not be in the
Council’s or general public’s interests.
