Decision

North Yorkshire Council is approved as being a
named partner in the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority
(YNYCA) Circular Communities Project to the National Lottery and
agrees to receive a further report once the outcome of the initial
stage is known and the full implication for North Yorkshire Council
are known.

Reasons for the decision

The project submission is an opportunity to
deliver our strategic objectives, further develop our working
relationship with the YNYCA and City of York Council and an
opportunity to being additional resources into North Yorkshire
Council.

Alternative options considered

The alternative option is not to join the bid,
YNYCA are working with community groups and CYC to develop the bid.
It is unknown but possible that they will submit a bid without
us.
