Decision

To allow a Discretionary Top Up Grant of
£1,883.00 to provide a step lift to enable access in and out
of the dwelling for the disabled client. Total value of the
adaptations will be under £50K with the mandatory and
discretionary funding.

Reasons for the decision

Due to the constraints of the existing
property the best solution is to provide a step lift to enable
access to and from the dwelling. This will promote independence and
safety to the client.

Alternative options considered

Unable to provide ramp due to the gradient of
the property.
