Reasons for the decision

Following on from a decision to accept a
Mayoral Renewable Funding grant in June 2025 a procurement exercise
had been undertaken and a contract has been awarded to BCS at a
value of £381,281.00 for the installation of solar PV panels
at Ripon Leisure and Wellbeing Hub – The Jack Laugher Centre,
Thirsk and Sowerby Leisure Centre and Whitby Leisure Centre. The
works will start on site in February and complete in March
2026.
