The Corporate Director - Children and Young People's Service increases all music service fees and charges by 3.4% for the academic year 2026/27

Reasons for the decision

The proposed 3.4% fee increase, alongside the continued development of EEPOS, closer working with NYES and the retention of current remission arrangements, provides a balanced approach that supports the long-term financial sustainability of the Music Service while maintaining access to high-quality and inclusive music education opportunities across North Yorkshire.
