That the Corporate Director, CYPS and the Corporate Director, Resources approve the application that is detailed in this report to make an application to the Department for Education to apply for grant funding under the School Based Nursery Programme Phase 3 for a total £4,503,840.20 and which comprises of the 10 projects listed on the attached appendicies

Reasons for the decision

The School Based Nursery Programme provides an opportunity for the Council to obtain capital funding to develop new provision that will assist in ensuring that the Council meets its statutory duties with regard to childcare sufficiency
