The Corporate Director Resources approves for North Yorkshire Council to release its legal charge over the Broomfields Farm site held by Brierley Homes Limited.

Reasons for the decision

This is to enable Brierley Homes to enter into a development arrangement with Broadacres Housing Association and facilitate external funding from Homes England, which requires a first legal charge over the site.

Alternative options considered

Not to release the charge but this would mean the development agreement could not be progressed
