The Corporate Director Community Development approves the submission of an Expression of Interest to the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority for the Brownfield Housing Fund for capital funding to support the development of up to 43 new affordable homes across 4 sites in North Yorkshire, and for revenue funding to support early development work across 2 sites in North Yorkshire.

Reasons for the decision

To enable the Council to submit Expressions of Interest for Brownfield Housing capital funding, which will support the development of up to 43 new affordable homes across 4 schemes within the Scarborough, Ryedale and Harrogate localities and for revenue funding to support potential development of affordable housing on 2 schemes in Ryedale and Whitby.
