RESOLVED
that:-
 

(a) 
Cabinet approve the commencement of a procurement
process to enable the phased replacement of the Council's fleet of
54 refuse collection vehicles (“RCV”) at an estimated
cost of £13.1m as part of its on-going capital investment in
the Fleet Replacement Programme, with a new RCV fleet to be
provided over a ~3-year period starting from 2025/26;
and
 

(b) 
The Executive Director of Place and Regeneration be
given delegated authority to award the contracts for the provision
of a new RCV fleet following the successful completion of the
procurement exercise.
