RESOLVED
that:-
 
(a)      the Council proceeds to
facilitate a competitive exercise through KCC SOFTWARE PRODUCTS AND
ASSOCIATED SERVICES - FRAMEWORK Y23065    (explained in 5.1 – Background
– Procurement Framework of the report) to identify a supplier
to procure Microsoft 365 Enterprise Agreement through –
incorporating MS365 licences and associated Azure consumption fees
(Cloud-based hosting, compute and storage costs);
 
(b)      Cabinet authorise the
tendering exercise as the value of the contract is above the
£3 million limit detailed within the finance and contract
rules within the Council's constitution;
 
(c)      Cabinet authorise the
annual spend estimated at £2.2m per annum totalling
£6.6m across the proposed 3-year term. The total amount has
been approved by finance and is already included in the Digital
& IT revenue baseline; and
 
(d)      authority be delegated to
the Executive Director of Transformation and Resources to approve
the award of the contract following the procurement process set out
in paragraph 5.1.
