About

The Oadby Residents' Forum is a platform for local people to engage with Oadby and Wigston Borough Council's decision-making processes. It aims to provide assurance that robust structures are in place for community involvement.

The Forum allows residents to scrutinise council decisions, acting as a conduit between the community and the Council. It gathers views to inform decisions, offers advice on projects requiring community input, and highlights areas of concern. The Forum also discusses and suggests new proposals and changes, ensuring community involvement in council services and developments. Its decisions are advisory only and not binding on the Council.
