About
The Appointments Committee is responsible for key decisions regarding the recruitment and appointment of senior council officers. It agrees on hiring for Chief Officer and Deputy Chief Officer positions, including defining job duties, qualifications, and advertising methods. The committee also creates shortlists, conducts interviews, and makes recommendations for the Head of Paid Service/Chief Executive role.
