RESOLVED - That:
1. Approval be granted for funding of a Community Genetics Outreach
Service in collaboration with NHS Greater Manchester Integrated
Care Partnership (NHS GM ICP), with the proposed commencing on 1
April 2026 and will run until 31 March 2029, with an option to
extend for an additional two years, up until 31 March 2031. The
total contract value over the five-year period is £249,000,
to be jointly funded by Oldham Council and NHS GM ICP on a 50/50
basis. Oldham Council’s contribution will amount to
£124,500 over five years, equivalent to £24,900 per
annum.
2. To approve the award of the contract for the delivery of
Oldham’s Genetic Outreach Service to HomeStart, the current
provider, in line with the Provider Selection Regime (PSR), direct
award C process.
