Decision

Council resolves to:

1. Approve the changes to the Constitution as listed in Appendices 1 and 2 with the changes relating to the National Scheme of Delegation to come into effect from 30 October 2026 and the remainder upon approval of the report;
2. Appoint the Director of Planning and Regulation as the Nominated Officer and the Chair of the Planning Committee as the Nominated Member to allow the Council to follow the National Scheme of Delegation made under the Planning and Infrastructure Act 2025, to come into effect from 30 October 2026;
3. Delegate authority to the Director of Law, Governance and Strategy (Monitoring Officer) to make any other consequential amendments to the Constitution to facilitate the changes in Appendices 1 to the extent that they have not been identified in the above
