The vote, undertaken by way of a roll call, was carried. The votes were recorded as follows:

For the Motion: Councillors Tessa Hodgson, Aaron Carey, Michelle Bateman, Alistair Cameron, Jon Harvey, Paul Miller, Rhys Sinnett and Jacob Williams [8]

There were no votes against or abstentions.

DECISION

(a)  That the properties listed in Appendix A, Section 1, be declared surplus to the requirements of one Council department and appropriated to another use within the Council.

(b)  That the properties listed in Appendix A, Section 2, be declared surplus to Council requirements and approved for disposal.

Reason for Decision: To enable the generation of Capital receipts from surplus or under used property in line with the Councils Asset Management Strategy 2023-2030 and to adjust the classification of remaining assets to optimize their use for the Authority’s benefit.
