Purpose

To approve the award of a contract for the delivery of toll collection services at the Tamar Crossings, ensuring continuity of a critical operational service that underpins revenue generation for the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry.

The procurement replaces the existing contract which expires on 31 March 2027 and supports the ongoing operation of the crossings, with flexibility built into the contract to accommodate future changes such as potential progression towards open road tolling.
