Decision

1. Formally adopted the March 2026 revised Locally Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education, Living Difference IV, as approved by the Portsmouth Agreed Syllabus Conference.
2. Recommended to the local authority that Living Difference IV (updated March 2026) continues being the Locally Agreed Religious Education Syllabus for use across the authority’s schools.
3. Recommended that Living Difference IV (updated March 2026) is made available to schools and used for making the Religious Education curriculum as well as guiding the teaching process in Portsmouth schools.
