About
The Standards Community Sub-Committee is responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct among members of Town and Community Councils in Powys, including church and parent governor representatives. It assists these members in adhering to the Members' Code of Conduct, advises the Council on its adoption or revision, and monitors its operation. The sub-committee also arranges training on conduct matters, grants dispensations from interest requirements, and handles reports from tribunals and the Monitoring Officer concerning matters referred by the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales.
