Recommendation from Climate & Environment Scrutiny Committee

The Leader agreed that the following motion that was raised by the Chair of Climate and Environment Scrutiny Committee be the subject of a further report to Cabinet.

“That Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council implements a clear and easily recognisable Bathing Water Flag Warning System at its designated bathing beaches to provide the public with real-time information on bathing water quality.  The system should enable residents and visitors to make informed decisions about entering the water, helping to protect public health while supporting the safe enjoyment of our coastline.”
