Crime and Disorder Scrutiny

The Redditch Crime and Disorder Scrutiny Panel scrutinises the work of the local Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP), as required by the Police and Justice Act 2009. It acts as a sub-committee of the Council’s Overview and Scrutiny Committee.

The Panel holds the North Worcestershire Community Safety Partnership (the local CDRP) to account for its decisions and performance. It also reviews policies on crime and disorder issues, and can engage with the community to understand local priorities and perceptions of crime.
