About
The Rochdale Health and Wellbeing Board is a formal committee focused on improving the health and wellbeing of local residents and reducing inequalities by addressing the factors that contribute to a good quality of life. It aims to foster integrated working across health and social care services, ensuring strategies are evidence-based.
The Board's key responsibilities include preparing Joint Strategic Needs Assessments and local Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategies. It also advises on and encourages integrated working arrangements between health and social care commissioners, as well as other health-related service commissioners, under relevant legislation.
