The Cabinet considered
a report of the Director of Children’s Services which sought to update on the programme of
work named Delivering Better Value in SEND (DBVS), the Special
Education Needs and Disability and Alternative Provision (SENDAP)
and the High Needs Block (HNB) position.
 
The Assistant Director
for Integration and Health, Children’s Services was in attendance to present the information and to
address the questions and the comments of the Cabinet Members.
 
Resolved that the
recommendations outlined at point 2 of the report be noted.

considered and rejected:
No alternative as
financial reporting ensures the Council complies with CIPFA’s
Financial Management Code and its standards for management of
financial resources in the short, medium and long term, management
of financial resilience to meet unforeseen demands on services, and
management of unexpected shocks within financial circumstances.
