The Cabinet considered
a joint report of the Director of Economy and Place and the
Director of Integrated Health and Care (Director of Adult Social
Services and Deputy Place Lead) which sought approval to enter into
a new lease for first floor offices at 138, Whitelees Road, Littleborough, OL15 8BZ.
 
At its last meeting on
27th May 2025, Cabinet had agreed to defer this item of
business in order to acquire additional information, before making
a decision on this matter.
 
The Deputy Director
Adult Social Services and the Surveyor Estate and Asset Management
were in attendance to present the
information and to address the questions and the comments of the
Cabinet Members. Representatives of the Estate Team of the Northern
Care Alliance and of the Integrated Heath and Care Directorate were
also present to provide additional insight to this matter.
 
Officers informed that
the questions that Cabinet Members had raised at the meeting in May
had been addressed in the addendum to
the original report, which was part of this evening’s
agenda.
 
Officers proceeded to
outline the information and responded to the questions of the
Cabinet Members.
 
The Portfolio Holder
for Regeneration and Housing thanked all Officers involved in the
preparation of the report and the addendum and noted that Cabinet
had the necessary information to reach a decision this evening.
 
Resolved that the
recommendations set out at section 2 of the addendum to the report
be agreed.
