Purpose

As part of the revised Better Care Fund Grant
(BCF) Conditions, all quarterly reporting must now be cited at
Locality Board.

Content

Consideration was given to a report of the Assistant Director of
Commissioning Adult Social Care and Prevention which sought
approval of the Better Care Fund 2024-25 Quarter 1
return.
 
Resolved: That the
Better Care Fund 2024-25 Quarter 1 return for the Borough of
Rochdale be approved for signed-off.

 

Reason for decision

The Better Care Fund Grant conditions required all
quarterly returns to be submitted to the HMR Locality Board. This
ensured Board Members were aware of spend and performance updates,
along with any challenges.

 

Alternatives considered
Not to
report to the HMR Locality Board – this option was not
recommended as signing off of the quarterly return was a condition
of grant funding.
