The Rotherham Town Board is responsible for defining the vision and strategy for Rotherham town centre's regeneration. It provides strategic oversight for projects funded by the Future High Streets Fund, Town Deal, and Levelling Up Fund, and plays a key role in developing the Long Term Plan for Towns.

The Board oversees the development and delivery of investment plans, ensures coordination between funding programmes, and influences stakeholders. While it can make recommendations, Rotherham Council, as the accountable body for funding, retains a full veto over any decisions.
