agreed by Cabinet in the 10th June and Council on
17th July 2024.
 
This decision is to progress to
formal 12-week public consultation on a draft Housing Allocation
Policy starting January to April 2025.

Reasons for the
Decision:

The Housing Act 1996 VI
requires that each Housing Authority shall have a policy for the
allocation of accommodation.  Prior to
making any decision regarding the options for the future policy,
engagement must be undertaken with a wide range of stakeholders and
customers.
