Decision:

To all Sitwell Infants to
extend the age from 4 to 7 year olds to 3 to 7 year
olds.

Reasons for the
Decision:

 This will allow the Local
Authority to meet it statutory duty to ensure that the is
sufficient early years provision.

Details of alternative
options considered and rejected:

 It
would have been possible to permit Sitwell Infants school to expand
the age range of pupils admitted. 
However, this would result in insufficient capacity within the
Sitwell ward.
