Reasons for the
Decision:

Under the Leasehold
Reform Act 1967, a leasehold property owner has the statutory right
to either extend the length of their existing lease or to purchase
the freehold title to their property.
Given the direct
approach from the leaseholder, the only option is to dispose of the
freehold interest in the property. The long leaseholder in this
instance is exercising their statutory right to purchase the
freehold.
Approval is sought to dispose
of the freehold interest in 12 Dale Road Herringthorpe for
£15,280 plus a contribution towards the Councils professional
fees
