Clause 46.5:
 
Strategic Directors may permit, with
limitations, other officers to authorise orders and Contracts in
their own name on behalf of the Council. Any orders or Contracts
made shall remain the responsibility of the Strategic Director.
Strategic Directors must maintain an up-to-date scheme of
delegation, which is refreshed on an annual basis at the
commencement of the financial year.

Award of contract to Nobisco Limited for a period of 48 months, to supply Catering
Disposables for the Council wide catering services.
 
Estimated contract value £287,814.

Reasons for the Decision:

Catering disposals required to ensure the
provision of catering services to schools and members of the public
across the Borough. Following a procurement activity and tender
evaluation process this provider was identified as the best
value.
