Brief Description of
Decision:

To approve the Sites and
Policies Document Five Year Review and its publication on the
Council’s website.
 

Reasons for the Decision:

Local Planning Authorities are
required by legislation to review Local Plan documents at least
every five years from the date of adoption, and to decide either
that their policies do not need updating, or that one or more
policies do need updating.
 
Publishing the Council’s five year
review of the Sites and Policies Document will inform the public
and stakeholders that the document does not need updating at this
time.
 

Details of alternative options
considered and rejected:

The five year review concludes
that an update to the Sites and Policies document is not required.
An alternative option to update that document is therefore not
appropriate at this time.
