Brief Description of
Decision:

To approve the hire of space at Clifton Park
for up to 4 concerts by The Reytons in
July 2024, subject to fulfilment of the Premises Licence
conditions, contractual commitments and the fulfilment of any
recommendations from the Rotherham Events Safety Advisory Group
(RESAG).

Reasons for the Decision:

This represents an opportunity to celebrate
Rotherham talent, build civic pride and support the burgeoning
local visitor economy.

Details of alternative options
considered and rejected:

Alternative site. There is no valid alternative site and Clifton
Park is associated with the band and their songs.

Refusal of hire. There is no valid reason to refuse the hire
as long as licensing, contractual and
RESAG commitments are met.
