Kier Construction Ltd of the first stage of a two-stage design and
build contract for development of design and delivery solutions in
relation to redevelopment works at Rother Valley Country Park,
following the outcome of tendering exercise undertaken. As detailed
in exempt Appendix 1 – Tender Evaluation Report.

£309,636
 
This
decision follows the recommendation in May 2022 that Cabinet
approve the implementation of all Town Deal and levelling Up
projects.

Reasons for the
Decision:
  

This contract will facilitate a
range of improvements at Rother Valley Country Park by providing a
new waterfront café, car park and public realm
improvements.

Failure to proceed with this
appointment will result in delays or failure to deliver the
Levelling Up funded works at Rother Valley Country Park.
