Brief Description
of Decision: 

Approval was not given to request ERP0233
for the compulsory redundancy of an employee in the Regeneration
& Environment Directorate.

Reasons for the
Decision:
 
 

The employee’s wish is to
remain in employment, and it is more financially viable to retain
this employee than the cost of redundancy and pension release. The
panel were of the view that the employee should remain in a
supernumerary position pending an alternative suitable vacancy
arising.
