That Cabinet:

1. Delegate authority to the Assistant Director for Planning, Regeneration and Transport, to draw down the 2025/26 allocation of £415,103 capacity funding, in line with the details provided at Section 2.’

Approval of allocated capacity funding to support the development of the PiP programme.

Reasons for the Decision:

It is recommended that the delegated officer draws down the allocated capacity funding to ensure the Neighbourhood Board and accountable body are prepared for the commencement of the investment programme.

Details of alternative options considered and rejected:

The delegated officer could choose not to draw down the capacity funding. However, Government has allocated this funding specifically for supporting the commencement of the Pride in Place Scheme and building capacity in communities.
