Reasons for the Decision:
Cabinet approved funding for the Scheme in its approval of Rotherham’s Local Growth Fund (LGF) allocations for 2026/27.
This approves the specific amount for the Shopfront Grant Scheme and the priority areas and activities to be funded under the Scheme
Details of alternative options considered and rejected:
Alternative option to continue the scheme and no longer provide local businesses with grant funding to improve their premises.
Cabinet had approved the continuation of the scheme, so this option was not possible.
