Brief Description of
Decision:

1.1
That the proposals shown on drawing numbered

Reasons for the Decision:

The report considers the outcome of consultations about a
proposal to implement a 7.5tonne environmental weight restriction
in Maltby.

The proposal has been developed
as part of the Local Neighbourhoods Road Safety (LNRS) project,
based on submissions for road safety and traffic management
improvements in the Maltby East Ward. This followed receipt of
requests from Ward Members, Maltby Town Council and
residents.

A majority of the responses received supported
the proposal.

Details of alternative options
considered and rejected:

A wider area proposal including Grange Lane
was considered, but this was removed due to a no suitable
alternative route for HGV’s between Holme Hall Quarry and the
A631.

Do nothing - due to concerns raised about
HGV’s in the area from Ward Members and residents,
this  could not be recommended.

Conflicts of interest declared by any
Executive Member consulted by the decision maker which relates to
the decision:

None

Dispensations Granted:
