Water, Wastewater and Ancillary Services (reference

Reasons for the
Decision:

This decision will ensure the
continued supply of Water and Wastewater Service, to the affected
Council sites. The procurement option selected is a compliant route
to market in line with the Public Contract Regulation

Details of alternative
options considered and rejected:

Other procurement option
explored was the further competition via the CCS framework, but
this would be more time-consuming and the given the poor feedback
around this framework it was not considered the best available
option.
Decommissioning the contract
was not considered due to the importance of maintaining a in
contract water supply to the affected Council buildings.
