Decision:

To approve 30 HRA properties be added to the
dispersed TA portfolio. This would increase the total size of the
portfolio of 173 HRA properties.
 
 

Reasons for the
Decision:

The Council must provide temporary
accommodation to certain homeless households. In recent years the
number of households requiring temporary accommodation has
increased significantly – by almost 20% between 2022/23 and
2023/24.
 
The
purpose of this Officer Decision is to agree to increase the
current dispersed portfolio by 30
properties to increase the size to 173
