About

The full Council is made up of all 39 Borough Councillors and is responsible for a number of key functions which include the setting the Council’s annual budget, major policies and council tax levels each year. The full Council meets six times each year and is chaired by the Mayor.

Asking a Question at the Full Council Meeting

Members of the public may ask a question for response at the full Council Meeting. The question can be put to the Leader of the Council, a Member of the Cabinet or the Chair of any Committee on any matter in relation to which the Council has powers or duties, or which affects the Borough.

The question should be sent to committeeservices@rushmoor.gov.uk no later than 5.00 p.m. on the fourth working day prior to the meeting. For the avoidance of doubt, for Council Meetings held on a Thursday evening, the deadline to receive a question would be 5.00 p.m. on the Friday of the preceding week.
