About
The Employment and Appeals Committee is responsible for key human resources functions not delegated elsewhere. It establishes panels to appoint senior officers and considers employee procedures, including dismissals. The committee also hears and determines appeals against dismissal and approves HR policies, subject to financial impact and voting requirements. It discharges HR functions delegated by the Council that cannot be statutorily delegated to the Cabinet or officers.
