About

The Rutland Health and Wellbeing Board is a formal committee of Rutland County Council, established in 2013. It acts as an advisory body to Rutland County Council, NHS Leicestershire County and Rutland, and the East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group (GPs).

The Board's advice focuses on the spending and service priorities of these bodies. Its main aims are to promote joint working between the NHS, social care, public health, and other local services, and to improve local democratic accountability by incorporating the voice of local people.
