Purpose

The decision is made in accordance with the
resolution of Cabinet of July 17, 2024, to delegate decision making
in relation to this matter.

Content

(1) That the Executive Director, Place in
consultation with the Executive Director, Finance and
Transformation, approve the appointment of IJS Roofing and Building
Limited as the sole provider for Roof Repairs and Renewal &
Built up Felt Roofing for the duration of 2 years with the option
to extend for a further 1 year, commencing from 9 December
2024;

(2) That the Executive Director of Place in consultation with the
Executive Director, Finance and Transformation, be authorised to
award the contract, as referred to in 2.1 above, to the successful
contractor. Authority received from Cabinet at the 17 July 2024
Cabinet Meeting. Cabinet Decisions attached as source reference as
detailed in Section 7;

(3) That the Assistant Director - Legal and Assurance and
Monitoring Officer be authorised to enter into or execute under
seal any documentation in relation to the award of the
contract.
