Purpose

The decision is made in accordance with the
resolution of Cabinet of July 17, 2024, to approve the delegated
decision making in relation to this matter.

Supply & Installation of Lifts & Lifting Equipment to
Domestic Premises. The decision is taken in relation to the
decision of Cabinet of July 17, 2024, to delegate authority for
selection of contractor to the Executive Director, Place in
consultation with the Executive Director of Finance and
Transformation.

A external Tender process via the CHIC Framework was undertaken
during the last quarter of 2024. The Tender Commercial Review and
Evaluation Matrix are detailed in Section 7 and appended to this
report in support of the request for approval.

Content

(1) That the Executive Director of Place, in
consultation with the Executive Director of Finance and
Transformation, give approval to the appointments of

• Premier Mobility (UK) Limited for the LOT 1 – Domestic
Stairlift and LOT 3 – Ceiling Track Hoists.

• Wessex Lift Company Limited for the LOT 2 – Through
Floor Lifts and LOT 4 Platform Step Lifts.

as the joint suppliers for the Supply & Installation of Lifts
& Lifting Equipment to Domestic Premises for the duration of 2
years with the option to extend for a further 1 year, commencing
from 01 March 2025.

(2) That the Assistant Director – Legal and Assurance and
Monitoring Officer be authorised to enter into or execute under
seal any documentation in relation to the award of the
contract.
