Purpose

The recommendations will provide continuity of
critical services provided by the BID that support a connected and
collaborative business community in West Bromwich and allow for
these to be developed and improved over the proposed term.

The recommendations align with the majority of responses received
from the applicable businesses surveyed across 2024/25 who have
indicated they are in favour of supporting the West Bromwich BID
for a third term for the period 2025-2030.

Content

(1) The Executive Director for Place in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Regeneration and
Infrastructure support voting ‘Yes’ with regards to
each of the council’s fifteen allocated votes in favour of
renewing the West Bromwich Business Improvement District
arrangements for a further period of 5 years for the period
2025-2030.

(2) The Executive Director for Place, in consultation with the
Assistant Director of Property, Strategic Assets and Land, complete
and return the ballot papers in accordance with the details
provided in section (1).
